I am head over heels for tufts too! I have seen some fabulous tufted chairs like the one you pictured above on craigslist. I bought one a few months back, and have seen more of them since then. I would LOVE an elegant tufted sofa for our family room. So, when you master the art of tufting, make me one please. :) hehe
They aren't as hard as they look. Just go for it. You'll do awesome. My recliner that I reupholstered awhile back has a tuft back too. It scared me to death! But once I got started I realized it wasn't so hard. Can't wait to see.
