There's just something about bird cages that really makes me happy. They come in all shapes & sizes & colors & styles. I love how versatile they are for decorating. And although people are using them in their decor for every season of the year, they're especially great for Spring.
Here's what I've done with a few of mine:

This large one in my living room is filled with a mixture of sticks from my yard & some faux dogwood branches from Hobby Lobby. I even added a few little birds (novel idea, I know).

And you may remember this little bird cage from when I showed you my Spring Shelves. I stuck a little pot of flowers in it. (Bird cage from Michaels.)

And here's my miniature red bird cage with my silhouette love birds I used for Valentine's Day:
And if you happen to need a jail for some villians, a bird cage works really well for that, too.

Here's just a little more bird cage inspiration for you, compliments of Pinterest...

I'm thinking I really need to paint one of mine this color {love it!}:

So, what's in your birdcage?

Now I have to get a birdcage, they are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable!!! Must get a birdcage :)
ReplyDeleteNothing exciting, Julie! I have a big one that I really need to add more to; right now I just have a nest with eggs and a bird clipped to the outside. Some sticks might work good or a small branch just to give it more interest.
ReplyDeleteI have a cute medium sized one with decor balls that I made from tennis balls covered in beans and moss and shells.
ReplyDeleteLove your birdcages and I LOVE those turquoise ones too! I see a can of spray paint in your future!
ReplyDeleteWell, my birdcage is out in the potting room and I am trying to figure out where to put it. There are days when I wish I had a birdcage big enough to put MyHero inside! (dead truth);>) Diana
I have wanted one for SO long! Alas, one day.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I have two favorites. My first fav is the second cage, the mini white one. I'm a nanny, so my other fav is the improv jail! Love it!!
Have a great rest of the week! :)
Nothings in my birdcage, because I don't have one. I like my birds to fly free.
