ReplyDeleteRight away I fell in love with the Matthew's Hangout sign. Matthew is my little guy's name and I am promising him to do up his room. I have always struggled with his room as I can easily do up a girl's room but a little boy's room is a bit harder for me. My plans for his room is a superhero theme that he wants as well as a hangout spot for him and for him with his friends. We placed an extra couch in there and it is the beginnings of his hangout room. So this sign would be perfect for him. Hopefully I can get it together for him for his birthday in a month. :)

I have never entered for anything but this project caught my eye. My grand passed away about 5 years ago. She was my song..really my best friend. She was dianosed with cancer and died 10 days later. It was such a shock to my enitre family. She stopped speaking in the days before she passed and then slipped into a coma. The last words out of her mouth after she had not spoken..she blurted out with her eyes closed. "The grass is so green". I have had amazing closure with just those few words. In my heart I feel that she was getting a glimpse of where she was headed. Either that or leaving us all with closure and her last words. I will never know.
